Rogue's Mini FAQ

ngm_roguesWe need new Rogues to fight!
It seems a little silly and a little intimidating to use the last generations various rogues galleries. Some have long assorted histories to become people rightfully feared (the Goblins). Others are someone we just don’t want to touch with a ten foot pole in casual interaction (Purple Man). Still, others are SILLY to have as a B-List baddie (Rhino, come on, a 60 year old man running around in a stupid Rhino costume?!).
While we’ll still use the old guys, it’s time to make new guys. We want to note that Marie has come up with two new Next Generation villains while Amit has made one. So what we need to do is make more and let EVERYONE use these guys/girls.
First thing first...
One perfect example of balancing scary powers is out lovely, wonderful, Gina. Of course Gina is a PC, but DK's handling of Gina's powers is a wonderful example. Gina is scary powerful but isn't so bright and her ambitions are quite low.
The second thing is a one line motive why they’re a bad guy or robbing banks. Maybe they can be somewhat sympathetic. Take Sandman from Spider-Man 3. He ended up a little too sympathetic and nothing like the comic character, but the idea of wanting to help his child is worthy if his means are not. Of course We wouldn't recommend 'doing it for the kids' because that would lead to ANGST. We want low angst here. Heck, the motive could be a rich quick scheme or they want lime light.
We don't need a paragraph or an essay. Just a line or more.
The third thing is a personality. Are they greedy, are they ambitious, are they bright, or are they stupid? Just two or three lines is all that's needed.
Special Notes are for notes if you're a little over protective of your creation and want to make a few things clears that's OOC infomation.
You can use ONE comic PB from outside of Marvel comics or a real person. This is going to be a community journal.

Creator: Marie
Name: Sparks
Powers: Low level electricity manipulation. Mutant.
Motive: Sparks is an illegal immigrant in the United States and while she wants to abide by the law, she needs a surgery that she can't get due to her illegal status.
Personality: Bright and resourceful, Sparks is not the typical illegal immigrant stereotype. She knows her abilities well enough to be an asset as a bank robber and goon for hire. Her desperation has driven her to prominence in the underground crime rings.
Notes: Sparks is an M to F pre-Op. The surgery she's so desperate for is the gender reassignment surgery. She's not vicious but doesn't ask questions and has a high common sense. Refer to her as 'she' despite bits that need to be sorted and she currently takes estrogen. Sparks looks enough like a woman that she's successfully 'passed' in her social sphere. The very last thing 'she' wants to do is out herself due to the nature of her job.

nextgen_rogues utility journal (it has the same password as the rest of them) to put in your chosen icon and post the bio as a journal entry. We'll note the new NPCs on the player updates.
Players can can go there to research the Rogues. We can add updates by replying to the bios.
ALSO! Please realize when you apply this character for everyone's use, it almost out of your hands. We recommend you not put your soul into this.
